This 3 day First Aid Response course will provide the candidate with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to give effective life support, diagnose and treat injuries or illness and maintain care and comfort of an injured work colleague until medical assistance arrives.

  • First aid in the workplace and accident scene management
  • Patent assessment
  • Respiratory emergencies
  • Heart attack and Cardiac arrest
  • Defibrillators
  • Wounds and bleeding
  • Altered levels of consciousness
  • Injuries to bones, joints and soft tissues
  • Burns, chemicals, scalds and electric shock
Requirements
  • I.D (Passport or Driving licence)
  • Loose flexible clothing
  • PPS Number
Certification

On successful completion of the 3 Day First Aid Response Course candidates will be issued with a PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) certificate valid for 2 years. (A refresher course must be attended within 2 years to maintain their certification).
